Lodge Day at the Ballpark Announced

In our efforts to continue to bring families back into Masonry, DeKalb Lodge is planning a family day at the ballpark on Saturday, August 29th. We’ll be going to the Kane County Cougars Class A minor league game out Elfstrom Stadium in Geneva. This night also features fireworks!

Game time is 6 p.m., though we’re looking to partner with Unity Lodge No. 48 from St. Charles and have an all-you-can-eat family picnic beforehand (picnic starts at 4 p.m. in the picnic grounds just east of the ballfield). The cost is $25 per person, which includes food and drinks before the game and a ticket in the stands. Individual ticket cost without the all-you-can-eat picnic is $13.

If you’ve never seen a Kane County Cougars game, its a great way to enjoy our national pasttime on the cheap and loads of fun. There are plenty of things to keep everyone entertained, from senior to kids and non-fans to the most hardcore fanatics.
