Sycamore Commandery Ranks Second in Division
Good job, Sir Knights! The count is just in and Sycamore Commandery scored second in our Division after our Inspection this past spring! Aurora Commandery was ahead of us, though we lead Rock Island Commandery slightly.
As noted, Sycamore Commandery’s Inspection is scheduled for January 16, 2010 and we’ll be practicing throughout the fall so that we can do this all on our own this year (something, BTW, which should make us the number one ranked Commandery in our Division!).

Sycamore Commandery was 92 points behind Aurora Commandery and 1 point ahead of Rock Island Commandery in Second Division Inspection scores.

Thanks Sir Knight Treasurer for the clarification. I’ve amended the details of the posting.

Now let’s get going on becoming No. 1 in the Second Division. This shows that the naysayers were wrong when they said Sycamore Commandery was dead. We are alive and well with a great future.

I couldn’t agree more, Bob, and thanks for your ongoing support, encouragement and guidance!

Officers and members shall soon receive a mailing to include a directory of the commandery, calendar of activity and announcements. We shall confer the Orders of the Red Cross and Malta in anticipation of conferring the Order of the Temple this fall and at our annual inspection on January 16, 2010 at the DeKalb Masonic Temple.
Potentially, we are discussing to host a combined Knights Templar and De Molay medieval meal and program beginning at 5:30 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2009 at the De Kalb Masonic Temple. More later as plans firm up! Something different and interesting for KTs and young men of the Order of De Molay!!! -Hugh A. Cole, EC
